How River Tubing Works
Never been tubing before? No problem. This is exactly what to expect on your float trip near Austin, Texas.
1. Check In
Arrive at the outfitter's location and check in. You'll receive your tubes, a safety briefing, and secure lockbox storage for your keys, wallet, and phone.
2. Coolers & Ice
Load up your cooler tube with drinks and snacks. Most outfitters provide ice and complimentary water bottles to keep you hydrated on the river.
3. Hop on the Bus
Board the shuttle bus for a scenic 15 to 45 minute ride to the river put-in point. Sit back, relax, and get excited for your float!
4. Hit the River
Launch your tube into the crystal-clear, 72°F spring-fed water and start your float. Enjoy 2 to 4 hours of relaxation surrounded by Texas Hill Country beauty.
5. Get Your Tubes
Experienced guides are on-site to help you get situated, link your group's tubes together, and make sure you're set for a safe and fun float.
6. Head Back
At the take-out point, hop back on the shuttle and return to the outfitter's location. Grab your belongings from your lockbox and head home with great memories!
